Yinka Oyebanjo-Odofin opened his 2025/26 skeleton race season for Nigeria with two North American Cup starts in Whistler, Canada.
Two starts in Canada
The IBSF results record 30th place on both 21 and 22 November 2025. The recorded heat times were 59.75 seconds on the first day and 1:02.63 on the second. These were the first two international races listed in Yinka’s debut-season profile.
The beginning of an international season
Whistler was the North American starting point of a season that would also take Yinka to South Korea, Austria, Germany, Switzerland and the United States. His track-and-field background supplied the foundation for the push; the results here mark the start of his competitive skeleton record.
