TERMS & CONDITION
DEPOSIT
Once a deposit is made and you receive a confirmation email from YiNkZZ Travels, registration is complete. The deposit of $399 is non-refundable. The balance of payment must be paid in accordance with the payment terms and conditions. The whole participation fee must be paid by the final date in the payment plan (or by an agreed date in writing).
CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY
Until 6 weeks prior to your date of departure the fees paid by any person who withdraws may be transferred to another suitable replacement without financial penalty. Cancellation charges per paying person cancelling (without replacement) are as follows: More than 5 weeks before departure date: we refund the full amount excluding deposit. 4 weeks or less: we retain 100% of the full price per paying person cancelling unless we can fill your spot. If upon cancellation, your spot is successfully filled by another client, we will make a full refund excluding the deposit. The effective date of cancellation is the working day on which written notification is received in our office. You may be able to reclaim cancellation charges under the terms of your insurance policy. Claims must be made direct to your insurance company. Once the trip has begun, no refunds can be made. All prices are based upon group bookings therefore no refunds shall be made on any parts of the itinerary which you do not wish to participate in.
COVID-19
In the times of a pandemic, travel still remains one to keep an extremely close eye on. We are 100% on top of the situation on the ground in Mexico and can confirm that cases remain at a low, with life resuming back to normal and tourism strongly improving. In regards to possible last minute restrictions, please read the following:
- If your flight is cancelled due to COVID-19 or lockdown restrictions, you will be entitled to a partial refund of the trip cost, and can use the remainder towards a future YiNkZZ Travels trip.
- If you suffer from COVID-19 leading closely up to the trip and can no longer attend, you will be entitled to use it towards a future YiNkZZ Travels trip, or have someone replace you and pay you the difference.
- If Mexico goes on the red list and travelers still decide to go, and your country of residence’ government decision is made less than 72 hours before the trip, travelers will receive 25% of the trip as a partial refund to go towards quarantine costs.
However, if we are currently on the trip while the red list changes are announced and includes our current country, then it’s at each traveller’s discretion to be aware of that if it was to possibly happen.
TRIP CANCELLATION AND INSURANCE
It is advised that all travelers purchase trip cancellation and interruption insurance as protection against an emergency which may force you to cancel or leave from the tour either before it begins or while it is in progress. It is a condition of booking a holiday that you are covered by extensive medical and personal accident insurance. You must ensure that your personal travel insurance provides protection for the full duration of the trip in respect of at least medical expenses, injury, death, repatriation, cancellation and curtailment, with adequate and appropriate cover including medical emergency helicopter repatriation. You should ensure that there are no exclusion clauses limiting or excluding protection for the type of activities included in your trip. You must ensure that all travel insurance purchased meets your particular personal requirements and you should arrange supplementary insurance if need be. It is your responsibility to ensure that the insurance you purchase provides adequate cover. We do not check insurance policies and cannot be liable for any expenses incurred as a result of you not having adequate, appropriate or valid insurance cover. We strongly recommend that you and all members of your party are adequately insured as soon as you book your holiday as this ensures that your deposit is protected.
Travel insurance for the duration of your booking is your responsibility. Please read the details carefully. It is your responsibility to ensure that the insurance cover is adequate for your needs, covering both activities arranged and not arranged by us. Adequate and valid travel insurance is mandatory for all customers while on one of our trips. You are required to purchase adequate insurance to cover you, your belongings and your photography equipment against any possible risk and you are required to carry proof of insurance with you and produce it if reasonably requested by Company employees or suppliers; failure to do so may result in your being prevented from participating in certain activities without the right to any refund.
ITINERARY CHANGES AND CANCELLATION
The arrangements advertised by us are given in good faith. As arrangements are planned so far in advance it may occasionally be necessary for us to make changes and we reserve the right to do so at any time. Any decision to change or cancel the tour may be due to weather conditions, political conditions and other factors beyond our control. Any decision made to change or cancel the tour will be made in the best interest of all participants with regards to the safety of the group. If a trip must be delayed, or the itinerary changed due to unforeseeable circumstances such as weather, transportation delays, political turmoil, the cost of delays or changes is not included. In the extreme and unlikely event that the trip has to be cancelled, we will refund the full paid amount, excluding deposit promptly. We will not however be responsible for any expenses incurred in preparation for travel or the trip experience.
SPECIAL REQUESTS AND MEDICAL PROBLEMS
If you have any special request, you must advise us at the time of booking and clearly note it on your booking form or email us. Although we will endeavour to pass any reasonable requests on to the relevant supplier, we regret we cannot guarantee any request will be complied with unless we have confirmed this in writing. Confirmation that a special request has been noted or passed on toBthe supplier or the inclusion of the special request on your confirmation or any other documentation is not confirmation that the request will be met unless and until specifically confirmed. All special requests are subject to availability. If you or any member of your party has any medical problem or disability, which may affect your holiday, please tell us before you confirm your booking so that we can advise as to the suitability of the chosen arrangements. In any event, you must give us full details in writing at the time of booking. If we reasonably feel unable to properly accommodate the particular needs of the person concerned, we must reserve the right to decline their reservation or, if full details are not given at the time of booking, cancel when we become aware of these details.
INCLUSIONS
Your YiNkZZ Travels trip includes:
- Five (5) days luxury accommodation in Tulum, Mexico
- Transport on selected days with hired drivers
- Freshly cooked breakfast and lunch by chef
- All group excursions mentioned in itinerary, and professional photoshoots on selected days.
**Please note: flights, visa/passport fees, travel/ content insurance, optional activities, personal expenses, other meals not included in the itinerary, and tips, are not included.
PHOTOS AND MARKETING
You consent to us using images of you taken during the trip for advertising and promotional purposes in any medium we choose. You grant us aperpetual, royalty-free, worldwide, irrevocable licence to use such images forpublicity and promotional purposes.
LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY
We assume no responsibility whatsoever caused for injury, loss or damage to person or property in connection with any service resulting directly from: acts of God, detention, annoyance, delays, expenses arising from quarantine, strikes, thefts, pilferage, failure of any means of conveyance to arrive or depart as scheduled, civil disturbances, terrorism, government restrictions or regulations and discrepancies or changes in transit or hotel services over which it has no control over.
